Julie Johnson was inspired to run for office after witnessing the divisive and threatening behavior that she knew didn’t represent her values. As an attorney and small business owner Julie has a long track record of championing equal and human rights causes; she handled a Title IX case that set a precedent for equality in school sports and played a key role in paving the way for marriage equality nationwide.
When elected to the House, Julie will fight for issues she is passionate about, including: education reform, providing greater economic opportunities for House District 115 and advocating for women’s health initiatives.
