As a hard-working, self-aware, intersectional undergrad student, finding the right balance of maximizing your education and dismantling the patriarchy can be challenging, even for you. Great news! Annie’s List is here to help  you make it work.

Annie’s List offers paid positions for young leaders enrolled in college through our Annie U internship program. Each semester we interview and hire four to six college students who are interested in the political process and creating better government to work with our team. Annie U graduates have gone on to attend Annie’s List Campaign School, work on campaigns of our endorsed candidates around the state, join the Annie’s List staff, and hold key positions in the Texas Capitol.

Annie’s List is now accepting applications for paid Spring 2019 internships based in Austin. Please email a one page resume and cover letter explaining your interest in Annie’s List and your preferred department to Ana Harris at ana@annieslist.com. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 26th by 5:00 PM CST. We are specifically interested in rising Juniors and Seniors, but encourage all years to apply.

Interns work in Annie’s List offices located north of UT Campus and have some opportunities to travel with staff to events around the state. Interns are asked to work at minimum 10 hours a week. If needed, our staff can work with students to gain course credit.

Strong candidates have a demonstrated commitment to Annie’s List mission and values, relevant work experience, strong writing skills, comfort using google platforms and the energy/flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.

All Annie’s List interns work to support our mission through one of our four departments: political, communications, development and programs. We encourage you to apply for the department that fits your talents and interests, but will also consider your for other departments based on our current needs.
